Hotel Roter Hahn Garni

Would definitely come back. Great breakfast with homemade cakes and gingershot. Nice staff! Central location in the center of Garmisch - train station and cable cars can be easily reached on foot. The swimming pool has a pleasant size, so you can relax and draw lanes.

The hotel has an indoor pool, dry sauna, and daily breakfast. The staff were wonderful. The location is also great, near the center of town. The downsides are as follows: the basic rooms are very small and the queen beds are actually two twin beds side-by-side, a small shower that would not accomodate anyone larger in size and the entire bathroom is tiny also, and most importantly for some people is that the wi-fi needs great improvement. Improvement suggestions for the owners: 1. Install refillable shower gel, shampoo,and conditioner stations in the shower area 2. Upgrade the wi-fi (the current system is very spotty and less than 10mbps speed)

Fantastic location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The swimming pool was also welcomed with temperatures in the 30 Celsius range during our stay. Would definitely return.
