A&O Muenchen Hauptbahnhof

Was there recently. Had a small room that was quite worn out. Nightstand was missing, showerhead only provided water in sparse doses. Staff was attentive and did their job properly. Breakfast was simple but o.k. - coffee was really good. What is actually good here is the location near the main train station. So it's okay, but it's not exactly thrilling either. Good compared to many other hostels: Quiet hours were observed. Even though people were yelling wildly across the courtyard at 9 p.m., it was quiet by 10 p.m.

I am sharing my experience here because I was simply very, very dissatisfied. My room was under the roof, and there was an incredible heat in the room, with a small window that could not be opened. Upon request for the key to at least be able to ventilate, I waited 2 hours at the lobby while the gentlemen at the reception served 5 dissatisfied customers who arrived and found no room available. I could not open the window all night, and no one cared. The whole house had a strong odor, some rooms were extremely bad. Mold on windows and corners, here are a few pictures attached as well. I hope I can help someone with this review.

The wifi was very low. The lift was never in function. The welcome was very unfriendly and unpersonal. In the room the furnitare was instable. The only good thing of this hostel is the location, near by the Central Station.
