Central Hotel-Apart Munchen

The hotel is located in a very quiet residential area, with the possibility of free parking in the neighboring streets. It is located a few meters away from the subway convenient to move to visit other areas of the city, in 15/20 minutes you can arrive safely in the center. The hotel is clean, our room was spacious and equipped with a mini kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and kettle, with towel and sponge for new dishes and single-dose detergent to clean dishes. Very comfortable and spacious beds, great television. A nice balcony, if it had not been winter we would have definitely used it. Bathroom a little small but with everything, nice hot shower water. The hotel has a breakfast room with a variety of sweet and savoury, a hot drinks machine and the possibility of making American coffee. Definitely will be back because we had a great time

The hotel is located in Berg am Leim, a very quiet residential district even for the evening. It is located within an apartment complex and there are no noises at night. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are larger, compared to the hotels in the center. There is a kitchenette equipped with microwave, kettle, plate, dishes, cutlery, sink. There is no coffee machine - at least in my room-. The property has a gym equipped with equipment, and you can also have breakfast at the hotel (I did not use the service). The TV in the room was not tuned, so it did not work well. It is about 20 min away from the center with the Ubahn but the stop is a stone's throw away

The stay in brief We are a family of 4 (2 adults, boy 15 years, girl 9). We enjoyed the semi-central, green and well-connected location (U2 at 200 m) and the practicality of the apartment, really complete. Sore note: breakfast management (several wasps on the buffet), no air conditioning, very morning bells and reception closed after 21:00. An episode with key cards negatively affected the evening experience. Location & links – 4/5 Quiet and green residential area; U2 at ~200 m and supermarket at ~100 m: perfect for getting around and shopping. The proximity to a church implies early morning bells (intervals < 1h and on Sundays longer): those who have light sleep should take this into account. Apartment & Amenity – 4.5/5 Well equipped space: full kitchen, fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, body soap, dishwashing detergent. Cleaning every 2 days: adequate for an aparthotel. For a family, it is a plus that allows home meals and autonomy. Comfort & Soundproofing – 3/5 There is no air conditioning: on hot days it can weigh; with open windows external noises and (in season) insects increase. The bells of the nearby Church are clearly heard in the morning; at certain times, even in the morning, they are prolonged. Breakfast – 6.5/10 Buffet sufficient but improveable. Serious criticism: 4–5 wasps in the breakfast room, running on the buffet without apparent management. I would suggest covers for sweet foods/fruits and trap points outside. Service & Reception – 3/5 The girl at the desk is very nice, but the reception closes at 21:00: it is a clear policy but not “family-friendly” if you return late or problems arise. The telephone emergency responds in English, but the assistance was rigid (see episode). Reportable episode (impact on experience) Returning at 22:00, all room keys were disabled (not demagnetized). With the reception closed, we called the emergency number: they activated only one key remotely and refused to activate the second, sending us back to the reception the next day. As this was a mix-up caused by the hotel, we would have expected the reactivation of both; having only one key forced us to change the family’s evening plans.
