Euro Youth Hotel Munich

Very pleasantly surprised by this hostel. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and well-laid out. We were very well received and were entitled to a complimentary drink. Near the central station so very convenient. Marienplatz is accessible on foot in 15/20 minutes maximum. The neighborhood is a bit lively at night, there is some foot traffic, but the windows insulate very well against the noise so no worries about sleeping. I can only invite you to book at this youth hostel

I had an amazing stay at Euro Youth Hotel during my recent trip to Munich! The location right next to the main train station is extremely perfect for getting around the city, and the whole place has such a vibrant, friendly energy. The bar and common area were bustling every night with great people, making it so easy to make friends over a cold beer. My room and the shared bathrooms were spotless, and I got a wonderful night of sleep here every single night. The staff really made the whole experience unforgettable—they are all smiling, helpful, and take such pride in what they do. A special shoutout to Simon, who was an absolute standout with his welcoming attitude and great local tips. I will definitly be booking my stay here again whenever I find myself back in Munich. Highly recommended to any solo traveler or backpacker looking for top-notch hospitality and fun!

This hostel has an amazing atmosphere and staff. Lots of friendly young people eager to make friends, with a great bar / common space that is quite busy in the evenings, even on week days. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. This was my second time at Euro Youth Hostel in 3 years (location is ideal next to the main train station of Munich). I think the culture of the place has gotten even better. On this trip, I first stayed at the Wombat (just two doors down from Euro Youth Hostel), and the rooms were very hot and muggy, and the staff was not as friendly. None of my acquaintances or I slept well at the Wombat. I finally got a good night sleep here (it's been many nights of too hot to sleep well at other places). The staff members at Euro Youth Hostel seem to enjoy their work much more. They are smiling and friendly, and I also noticed they also do a respectful job of enforcing policies consistently, which makes for a better experience for the guests. In particular, Simon was a standout staff member. He is always smiling and I could tell that he really enjoyed his job. He also spoke highly of the other staff members which I really like to hear. I was impressed by his eagerness to make guests feel welcome in the city, his desire to learn Deutsch, and his efficiency. I know now to continue booking at the Euro Youth Hostel in the future.
