Golden Leaf Hotel Altmunchen

Great location Very hot - no air con No iron and not many towels Breakfast was nice but it lacked variety. Restaurant food was lovely.

We rented 2 rooms for our family of 4 and found it to be good value compared to the cost of other nearby hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were quick. We used the parkade parking and the cost was better than advertised at other hotels. The whole hotel Is tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we didn’t notice any hallway noise or noise from other rooms. The location was great, 15-20 minutes to walk to the market, restaurants and shopping areas. It was very warm in the room and thankfully a fan was provided to try and get some airflow at night. Having the window open helped but it was hard to sleep with it open after 5:00am due to street noise.

Rooms are clean, large enough for a nice weekend in Munich. The location is great; it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the center. The food and service at the restaurant are excellent, and the beer garden is very nice. The only downside was that it was relatively warm, and the rooms do not have air conditioning. A fan was available, but it was noisy. The rooms facing the street are a bit loud with the windows open. Problem-solving for next time: book a room facing the courtyard. Otherwise, everything was perfect
