Hotel Leopold

Hotel has cramped parking garage. You have to park over the lines. Reception was friendly. Rooms have no air conditioning. Far too hot in summer and out of date! It also turned out that the city festivals take place July 31 and August 1. This was not communicated. Adapted menu in the brasserie. From the normal menu we could not order. The regular menu we got first but this menu was quickly swapped for a custom menu. We were upset because this was not communicated and that was not at the entrance restaurant. Only fish salmon could be chosen for the starter. Dessert we had to ask because we didn't get. Controls weren't paying attention. Ordered drink not received.It was all just not. In the hotel, the loud music of the city festival could be heard from the street. Far too much noise window could not open because of noise outside. And that with this heat! Hotel did not inform that this event took place. As for the rooms small pillows and only 2 small towels in the room. Wonder if it's worth being the stars.

Absolutely friendly welcome and farewell. Room simply furnished but top clean. There was also fruit and yogurt for breakfast. The location was fantastic for me. The windows go to the back so it is absolutely quiet.

I stayed at the Hotel Leopold in Munich again, this time for the Metallica double concert. I like the uncomplicated accommodation in the hotel. While you park your car just outside the entrance, you can then check in directly behind the gate, receive the key and various information such as the WiFi code, and then park your car in the underground car park and go straight from there to the hotel to get to your booked room either via the stairs or the elevator. Breakfast is available from 6:30 a.m., which I think is great. Then the breakfast room is still empty and you can help yourself to the extensive buffet without being disturbed. The room furnishings are simple, but have everything you need, including the minibar.
