Excellent location and service.

We booked two rooms for two families, of a total of three children and three adults. The disgruntled man in the reception tried to gaslight us into thinking we had booked just one room, and that it was a suite and we'd all fit. It wasn't a suite and we wouldn't have fit, and of course we had another room booked. The next day we decided for sandwiches across the street for breakfast, as no one mentioned anything about the free breakfast I now see advertised here. From the sandwich place we witnessed a horrible tragedy where a man jumped from a hotel window to his death. The hotel later tried to continue the gaslighting; told us it was a local living above the hotel (it wasn't), and we witnessed them lying to other guests about the nature of the event (that a car had crashed into the building, hence the aftermath). There was no attempt made to help us with the traumatic experience our children witnessed, other than a 'tut mir leid'. Now, obviously I don't blame the hotel for someone's horrible death, but nothing about this experience did anything to alleviate the trauma.
