Airport Regent Hotel

We were pleased with our one night stay. We booked the "trade fair" package early in 2019 which included pick up and drop off at the airport, breakfast and a very large comfortable room. We traveled by train to Munich airport where we asked assistance from the Information desk; the lady called the hotel on our behalf (she was familiar with the hotel and with the process) we were pick up within 20 minutes. Check in was slow and disruptive as the front desk agent was dealing with other issues while checking us in - would suggest giving proper attention to guest should be a priority. Nevertheless we found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (including the king size bed). The breakfast was very good with many choices. Unfortunately the hotel only provides WiFi at a fee, in today's traveling model it seems out of touch. Would also recommend taking the train all the way to the airport and being pick up there and not follow their suggestion to get off at the local rail station, transferring to a bus and walking to the hotel. We would again stay at this hotel if we return to Munich. Overall we received good value.

Check-in: super fast and with no problems. Airport shuttle: very very good. Car parking place for 1 week: very good. Breakfast: quite ok. Dinner: average, but huge portions. Rooms are old and not renovated, furniture old. Rooms very basic. Cleanliness: very clean.

The room door was very hard to lock, During a 3 days stay the room was never made. The toilet did not clear the faces out of the bowl. The restaurant food was not really a great thing, neither for breakfast nor for dinner. They cater to guests who do not come back anyway.
