Perfectly located for discovering the two castles. Hearty breakfast. Simple but comfortable rooms. Possibility to park in the courtyard and leave your vehicle there even after checking out.

Overnight stop hotel on the way to Austria and to see Neuschwanstein Castle. Self check in was easy and the rooms were traditional but comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but everything was clean and worked fine. The view from our window was of the castle and amazing. We were in the annexe at the rear with the car parked right outside. Breakfast was really nice and the service from the staff (owner?) was good. We could leave the car at the hotel for the day while visiting the castle which was useful.

Anticipated. We slept in the main house. And....the location is great. Walking distance to the castle, bus or carriage. That was the positive. Nothing's been done about the house for ages. The rooms were cleverly photographed and a bit dressed up. Bath = toilet and shower on approx. 1.5 sqm. Washbasin in the room. No shower stuff. No towel change. Breakfast was ok. Everything was kind of clean, but unkempt and great. No place to feel good. Fell for the photos. But that's just the way it is. And for performance, the price is borderline. .
