We spent 1 night there, were on the way home from Italy. Discovered this hotel spontaneously and stopped by in the evening around 7:00 PM and asked if there was still 1 room available. The lady at the reception was visibly confused as to why we were suddenly there without booking in advance. She seemed a bit overwhelmed. On the internet, we saw a price beforehand for Dorint members. She did not mention this at all, but instead quoted us a significantly higher price. We told her that it was actually cheaper online. She just said, well then book it online. … We then retreated to a corner and booked online using the member card. Then back to the reception. She sees the booking and says: Oh, you are members????? She could have asked beforehand, right? With a $65 price difference, it is actually unbelievable that you are not asked about it. Well… The room was okay as far as it went. The balcony is missing flooring. You are standing on the screed. It is a tripping hazard going outside. You really have to be careful when you want to go out onto the balcony. We wanted to go for a swim in the evening. Unfortunately, there was only 1 pair of slippers in our closet. When we asked at the reception, they unfortunately could not help us… Dinner with half board was a buffet. Quite okay, nothing special. The breakfast was actually better. A very good selection of rolls. All in all a very dark hotel, not all employees greet you in the hallway. We probably won't come back.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Dorint Marc Aurel Resort. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff, who were always helpful and ensured a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent – a large selection of fresh and delicious food, so there was really something for every taste. The day could thus begin perfectly. The spa area also impressed us. It was very clean, tidy, and invited us to relax. Here, one could wonderfully switch off and enjoy the time out. We can recommend the hotel without reservation and would love to come back! 😊

Deluxe double room with air conditioning booked through Reisensktuell.com. There we received the last worn-out dirty room without air conditioning. After consulting at the reception, we were told that there was no other room available, even though other guests had checked out. In an even greater affront, we were told that they could not offer our room to other guests. Room was worn-out and dirty, bathroom had endless mold, fan was broken, mattress was sagging and dirty. Never again this hotel, supposedly loud M. Forster, we would have to live with it. Look at the pictures and make your own judgment: 1600 euros for 5 nights for that is an outrage. A complaint will follow, guaranteed for this outrage.
