JUFA Kempten

Beautiful family-friendly hotel that caters to individual needs and offers a lot for both young and old. (Outdoor pool, indoor pool, foosball, billiards, movie room, climbing room, etc.)

We were at the Jufa Kempten for the second time. The great things are still there: a large outdoor pool right next door with plenty of space, a nice fun pool, a fantastic climbing gym, and in the building itself plenty of amenities like ping-pong tables (and of course rackets to rent), a pool table, a cinema for small children, etc. Unfortunately, a few things have gotten worse since last year: The direct access to the outdoor pool was broken (it only adds 5 minutes to the walk, but when you know how great the quick path is, it's a bit annoying when it's closed), the breakfast waffles were no longer available, and the dinner was also less varied than before. We also had the bad luck this time that there was a construction site and that there were many groups there that were not families - and that changed the atmosphere in the hotel a lot. The staff is very nice and makes an effort, but how are they supposed to ensure peace and quiet when 30 teenagers are storming across the courtyard and playing their phones loudly everywhere in the morning and evening? So, I would still like to recommend the Jufa Kempten because it actually offers a good overall package, and because you can also easily arrive by bus and train.

The price-performance ratio is not right. The bathroom is completely moldy. Dinner was inedible. The same food was served for 3 days in a row. Cold and absolutely unappetizing. Old mattresses with broken springs. Not worth the money.
