Angelo Munich Leuchtenbergring

Not a very great experience stay at HI Munich on Leuchtenbergring. Service isbad with no call pickup during day after multiple attempts. Even after paying so much, they don't give you additional complimentary water bottles. They didn't inform where hotel parking is and on checkout day charged me €25 for the parking without any waiver. WiFi is very poor with frequent disconnection and low speed. Overall don't spoil your vacation staying here, there are much better properties in Munich.

The older gentleman at the front desk seemed to be new. He did not make us feel welcome at all, but rather like a nuisance. He touched my mobile phone without asking and had a brusque and rude tone throughout the entire check-in process. When I spoke to him about it, he could not manage anything more than a passive-aggressive, obviously insincere sorry. Please train the staff better in dealing with guests. Next time we would not stay here again, but rather at the Motel One next door.

The main plus of the hotel is a good location (subway at 3 min., direct branches to the center and to the station, at 2 min. there is a shopping mall with shops and cafes). Breakfast is also good, very varied and delicious. Loved the interior, sloppy but nicely decorated. Room size OK. There's a kettle and coffee tea. Cons: The room is very hot, the air conditioning cools extremely slowly and then the temperature below +26-27 does not drop. Pretty noisy from the road. Curtains let in light, need a sleep mask. There's no fridge in the room. The lack of cleaning without prior notice on the previous day may also hinder someone, but I (2 nights) was not principled.In general, the hotel is suitable for a short stay, but the disadvantages and high price make the value for money questionable.
