NH Neue Messe Hotel

Large rooms with air conditioning service and a fridge, beer glasses, and a coffee maker. The cleaning is good. It is noticeable that it needs a renovation (more so the bathroom) but the experience has been good. It is far from the center but it is very well connected, if you go by car, and there is a bus right in front of the hotel, if not.

The hotel is okay, as is the location. Breakfast is plentiful. Since my stay two years ago, when there were major problems with the broken heating, quite a bit has been spruced up. Unfortunately, some of the staff still only speak very poor German/English, which is annoying; the prices in the "kiosk" can be described as usury. Unfortunately, the beds (new ones?) are an absolute disaster. When one person moves in the double bed, the whole bed shakes and wobbles. The mattress is absolutely unacceptable. Hard as a board, it does not support the spine; because of the pain, I did not know how to lie down. After two nights and despite many stretching exercises, I can no longer move without pain. That is completely unacceptable!!!
