Nh Aquarena Heidenheim

As a couple, we stayed at the Taste Heidenheim from 08/13/2026 to 08/16/2026 and have the following to note: Breakfast was equipped with the usual variety, but nothing special Service in our room took place exactly zero times during our 4-day stay There are already some mold or mildew stains in the bathroom, it does not look very inviting The night bell apparently does not work; we were only let in after a phone request and some waiting time

We come to the Taste Hotel regularly and gladly, and we have always felt very comfortable so far. We have especially appreciated the restaurant in the past – the food was always very good, and the breakfast is still super and is one of the highlights for us. Unfortunately, we have to say this time that we were very disappointed with the dinner. In our opinion, the menu has been greatly reduced, and there is now hardly any choice for vegetarians in particular. We therefore ate out on the very first evening. On the second evening, we wanted to give the buffet a chance, since one usually thinks that there should be something for everyone at a buffet. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed here as well. The spinach was completely tasteless and inedible for us. The fries and vegetables were also unfortunately flavorless. The fish, a whitefish with a salmon center, tasted bitter. The spaetzle were hard and seemed partially uncooked, while the pasta, in turn, was completely overcooked. Unfortunately, there was hardly anything for us that evening that we could eat with pleasure. In addition, there was unfortunately also a disappointing service. Used and dirty plates were left on the tables for a very long time, even though there was little activity overall. We would have liked to have another drink, but unfortunately no one came to our table anymore. The server was apparently more occupied with clearing or sorting served plates. She took our order, but unfortunately there was hardly any service afterward. For further drinks, we finally had to go to the bar ourselves. We find that particularly unfortunate because we always enjoyed visiting the restaurant in the past and, due to our regular stays, know that it can be significantly better. The breakfast is still very good, and in principle, we enjoy coming to the Taste Hotel. We really hope that both the quality of the dinner and the service will improve again. Because we would very much like to remember the restaurant as positively in the future as we did before.

Beautiful hotel located right next to Aquarena (Hellensteinbad) (accessible through a corridor in the basement), great breakfast buffet, clean rooms, very nice staff, we always like to go there again.
