Center Hotel Drive Inn

Terrible hotel. Bedside table, lamp, bed wall full of dust. The whole hotel smells like a bad cleaning product that burns my eyes. The mattress is down, the toilet full of urine stone...I'm speechless and just want to leave.

The hotel provides a solid base for travelers looking for simple but comfortable accommodation. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to explore the surroundings of Hirschaid. Location: Close to the highway, yet quiet. Rooms and services: The rooms were clean and functional, but kept rather simple. I was particularly surprised by the sleep quality. The beds were very comfortable and the mattresses pleasantly firm, which has ensured a restful sleep. For me, the sleep quality was really excellent, and I felt very relaxed after the overnight stay. The check-in and Check-out went smoothly, and the express Check-out was a welcome relief. Luggage storage is also convenient. Lounge, available. Breakfast: Breakfast was reasonable but rather basic. The selection was fine, but there might be a bit more variety or fresher options. Overall sufficient and good, but not outstanding. (This is whining at a high level) Restaurant: Misrepresentation (hotel only), Breakfast depending on Booking Referral (included), but Recommended as there is no shopping possibility in early departures! Employees: Friendly and courteous In the vicinity: Master Chang Asian cuisine approx. 75 meters, McDonald's approx. 200 meters, Lily's Asia specialties approx. Car dealership and petrol station possible (short cut), EDEKA directly on the premises, LIDL about 400 meters (this just for info I did not test a restaurant) Conclusion: The Center Hotel 'Drive Inn' offers all the basic amenities for a pleasant stay. It is a good choice for a short overnight stay if you are passing through or want to explore the area around Hirschaid. Of particular note is the quality of sleep, which I found excellent. Breakfast could be improved a bit, but otherwise the value for money is right. Overall a solid hotel for travelers looking for uncomplicated accommodation, price / performance is OK. Recommendation: Yes!

Located just off of the motorway this is a quiet location. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The receptionist was welcoming even though it did seem to take a very long time to record our details. For anyone travelling in an EV there is a fast charger about 100 metres from the hotel entrance.
