TIPTOP Hotel Burgschmiet Garni

First of all, the hotel has a top location, quietly situated, very close to the old town. The staff members are very friendly and customer-oriented. At the reception, you get homemade cookies right away. I was able to send several boxes of goods for a trade fair there in advance without any problems and reserve a parking space. The room has everything you need and everything is very well-maintained, spacious, and beautiful. The breakfast is incredibly good, a very rich selection including salmon, dishes like you know from lunch: Chili con carne, Vienna sausages fresh from the warmer, salad, fresh fruit, vegetables, granola—I can't even list everything—so much and everything made with love. I can only recommend it and would love to come back.

In a strategic position because you can reach the historic center in less than 10 minutes on foot; equipped with covered parking, we stayed for only one night. The assigned room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything necessary, but it lacked air conditioning (there was a fan as a replacement, but it is not the same thing...!), and in August the temperatures were still "hot". Despite everything, we still managed to sleep. Excellent breakfast with a variety of sweet and savory options. Courteous reception staff.

Very good hotel in a great location and looks like it does in the photos. Liked - The staff is very friendly and professional. You can feel the heart throughout the whole building. There are homemade cookies at the counter and free iced tea. The parking space was Tetris-like smaller than expected. We made a reservation. Everything worked out. The rooms were furnished in a particularly well-thought-out way. Great fan!! The location is great. You are 10 min. from the castle and 2 min. from the tram. Breakfast is extreme! Great, but way too much. Did not like - Breakfast - we have already experienced many breakfasts on round trips. Everything here is very well-intentioned, with a lot of heart, homemade. Ok. The older breakfast lady was a bit bossy, not very friendly. Conclusion - The selection is way too much! A bit of food waste. No tourist can eat all that, right?! Maybe on a cruise, but not before a city tour. At least. 6-7 types of fruit, 6-8 jams, at least. 3 diff. Börek, pancakes, stuffed crepes, croissants, cakes, cupcakes, ratatouille?! Beans with ground meat?!. Surely a lot gets thrown away there. Better to make less, but with really good quality.
