Avoid at all costs during summer. Room was 45 degrees upon entering, no AC. Only five rooms in total have AC in the hotel. Slept 4 hours total per night. Was really hell. Never seen anything like it.

We recently stayed at Prinzhotel in the Old Town of Rothenburg and found this to be a good property inside City Walls near the Roderturm tower and gate entrance. Reservation was made through booking.com. Confirmations were received immediately, check-in handled expediantely upon arrival. They have luggage storage, limited parking near the hotel. Note there is a fairly large carpark lot just outside Roderturm, around 400 metres from the hotel. Prinzhotel has a restaurant and cocktail bar. It is around 6-8 minute walk to Marktplatz. Basically you can walk to all major attractions around the Old Town from here with ease. Our room was fine, fair amount of space, beds generally comfortable. Rooms gets a bit hot during warmer days. Fan is provided to help circulate the air, no A/C. Room includes really small desk space, TV, closed and open closet space for hanging clothing, extra seating chair, stocked fridge. No kettle, tea or coffee in room. Bathroom space is fine, fixtures worked perfectly. Internet service was frequently disrupted and slow during our stay. In the end, our stay had a couple of shortcomings but was overall decent. Would consider staying here again but would have a look around at other places as well.

We booked 4 superior double rooms through their website, when we arrived they wanted to charge us 7 as their system had booked 3 rooms twice under the same names. After a long discussion of course we paid only 4. Central and convenient hotel for visiting the beautiful village of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Clean and comfortable rooms! The only flaw, but very serious, do not make the daily cleaning nor the change of towels for the first two nights! Nice structure but quite expensive, however in the standard of the place! We even had dinner in their restaurant, very cute and refined! Friendly and attentive staff but dinner nothing exceptional, not worth the expense paid.
