Hotel Irschenberg S

We were here for an overnight stop and were thrilled with the premises. Very clean, everything super tidy. Great service and easy check-in. We had booked with breakfast and had a super relaxed and very hearty breakfast the next morning. We were in the back part of the hotel and had a great view of the mountains. It was quiet thanks to the soundproof windows and air conditioning. A playground for the child to let off steam.

Great hotel for passing through. It is a Motel which is located in a parking lot on the highway but we have not been bothered. We first got a 3 person room but switched to a 2 person with baby bed because these rooms have a balcony. Rooms are reasonable, not really clean. Especially the bathroom was really dirty. Mountain views are fantastic and the fact that the burger king is on the same property is easy. Breakfast can be booked for 7,99 euros. You get a sandwich with toppings, a croissant and a cup of coffee. -Fine. Big drawback; Motel has no air conditioning. We arrived at 33 degrees so the night did not get cooler than 26 degrees in the room, and that was with the door open (and therefore highway sounds). In short, recommended if you are passing through and do not value air conditioning.

The Hotel Irschenberg Süd is right next to the motorway, is connected to a service station and is very close to a petrol station. You can also buy vignettes for Austria here. There is also a parking lot for hotel guests in the petrol station area. Despite the travel time, there were enough parking spaces. During my overnight stay, I found the hotel area to be freshly renovated and clean. You can hardly hear anything from the motorway as the rooms face away from the motorway. Overall, a very nice stay. The breakfast in the morning, which you can book separately, was also good.
