super nice people. the Day we arrived, it was very very early and the people allowed us to use our room (it was supposed to be ready at 2 pm), we were offered breakfast so we had a nice start in Munich. Great location, near the bus station and major turist areas. we enjoyed the place. we Think at Night the área is a Little bit "hot" but no troubles.

I should first mention the positive... Many thanks to the friendly guy working the evening shift at the reception who helped checked us in. Thank you also for the trouble to boil and fill our flask with hot water for the cold journey home to Zurich. Next, the close location to the main railway station was a plus and it has many nice and decently priced restaurants around. However, those are unfortunately pretty much all... The neighbourhood may be close to the station, but it feels extremely shady. You get dodgy looking people standing randomly around and not sure what they're up to. I would not recommend this neighbourhood to families and single women. I also think it is a red-light district. Noisy people party til late on the street outside our window, and we probably had Godzilla or T-Rex staying on the floor above us. So you can forget about sleeping if you don't pack earplugs. The room was big but extremely dated. The sofa was so dirty we didn't even dare go near it. The shower didn't drain properly too and I daren't use it for too long without fearing foot fungus. However the towels were clean and soft. The bed was also mercifully clean and comfortable, but... there was no in-room WiFi... and that is not OK at all. Today's travellers do everything for their travel needs online - flight check-in, research for sight seeing, etc. Hence in-room WiFi is absolutely indispensible. I was also uncomfortable with luggage handling. We were only leaving Munich at around 7pm and were forced to leave our bags out on the icky looking open corridor with random dodgy people sitting around - don't know who they are. There were no bag tags and no checks. Day receptionist woman looked too flustered to care. Anyone can remove a bag without verification or even be noticed. Zero security whatsoever. This hotel is screaming inside out for a major upgrade. It's got potential. I hope someone improves it.

Very conveniently located close to the city center. The rooms are a bit dated, the area is a tad shady, the noise at night is amazing, breakfast is ok. Reception staff is very kind and helpful. For the prize you pay, you get a lot.
