The hotel or the hotel infrastructure is a disaster. The entire hotel has ventilation and air conditioning problems. We had 30 degrees in our room at night. The technician did come by in the evening - he reset the air conditioning control - with no effect. The friendly ladies at the reception are to be pitied. Every morning they were confronted with guests who complained about the lack of ventilation or air conditioning and wanted to change their rooms. We also managed to change rooms - it was a bit less hot because the room was at the back. The hotel bar was closed from the very beginning. I don't know how one can call this a 4-star hotel. In the summer, this hotel is unusable. We fear that they will also have problems in winter, as mobile heaters are scattered throughout the rooms. Apparently, investments are being made in all other hotels but not in this one at Geyerstrasse 52. No one from management was ever seen, and after 6:00 PM, no technician was in the building. The reception crew is left to deal with all these problems alone. The hotel is an absolute scam! We will no longer consider this hotel chain for any bookings.

Disappointing stay – investment jam on all cornersReview: I can not recommend this hotel. The house suffers from a massive investment backlog, which is particularly evident in the rooms: The decor is in need of a lot of renovation and looks worn out. The organization at the reception also leaves much to be desired. An absolute no-go: At check-in I was not informed that the room cleaning is only on demand. The fact that as a guest you have to ask proactively for cleanliness without being informed in advance is unacceptable. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The buns were poor convenience goods – obviously, the quality is not being used here. Overall, the value for money is not right at all. Action is urgently needed here.

I stay at this hotel regularly for work as the location is very good for business trips. Unfortunately, the house can only be rated two stars overall. I award the two stars for the consistently friendly and helpful staff, a decent breakfast and for the mattresses, which are still in acceptable condition and allow a restful sleep. Apart from that, however, there is an urgent need for remediation. Many windows are broken and do not close properly. A pleasant indoor climate is hardly possible without additional fan heaters in winter or fans in summer. There is no functioning air conditioning system – it has been out of operation for years. The furniture is heavily worn and partly defective: Table tops shake, chairs are sat through, the sofas well beyond their life cycle. The bathroom also shows the condition – the shower fluctuates greatly between hot and cold water, which makes showering unnecessarily uncomfortable. Another negative aspect is that there is obviously more attention to cost optimization than to guest comfort. Previous drinks in the fridge were abolished, although this was a nice gesture. The ability to actively deselect room cleaning has also been changed. Today, there is hardly any service on its own – even cleaning needs to be actively requested. Conclusion: Good location and friendly staff, but technical condition, facilities and comfort no longer meet today's expectations. Without a comprehensive renovation, this impression will unfortunately change little.
