Great breakfast Friendly staff

Arrived late around 9.30 pm but check in was quick and flawless. Was given Room 19, second (top) floor and was very big. No kettle in the room though but you were able to get hot water from the bar. Breakfast was good, decent variety, costs €7 which is well worth it. All fresh produce. Had dinner on first night (kitchen closes at 10) very enjoyable. See pictures. Check out perfect. Lovely situated in old town square.

It is a nice hotel, but I don't think I'll chose it next time I'll be in Wemding. The hotel is really nice from outside and I have to admit the breakfast quality is very good. The price is honest (for the area around Wemding), but I can't see any more good points. The first day I arrived, I found a bottle cap on the desk of my room. It was really visible, so I think they do not clean the room very accurately. The room (number 20) is really small. The bathroom is a cabinet. You have the WC just 20cm close to the shower. The sink is located in the room itself just beside of the bed. The carpet does not look so clean to me. The TV is nice, but there are only German channels. The staff is almost not able speaking English and all papers in the room are in German language. There are ONLY German plugs in the room, so remember to bring an adapter for your PC. The illumination on the room is very poor. It is not possible to work on the desk in the evening/night (if you are here to work). The lamp on the sink is crazy. The switch is located on the lamp itself. I'm 180cm and I hardly reached it. If you are less than 170cm, you will not. The wardrobe is only sufficient and there's no minibar. There's also no air conditioning. I was surprised because the price is close to 100 Euro for a single room. The wireless is quite good, but I didn't understand why I needed two username/password for my laptop and mobile phone. If you want to save money, it could be the right hotel. If you want a comfortable room, you need asking for a double one. If you are from a foreign country and you don't speak German, you need choosing another hotel.
