Arrived here for a 2 night stay. Underground Carpark very tight and immediately damaged car alloys on raised kerb. Could not find way out of carpark to hotel as no signage. Entered hotel to check in to be asked by dark haired man with glasses- no greeting just “passports”. We didn’t have them on us as left luggage in the car- explained this but he just dismissed us out of the way and beckoned other guests forward. We found our way back to the car park via the lift and definitely no signage for hotel and lift. Returned to check in and had friendly young girl to speak to! Room was ok, though large stain on carpet despite hotel recently refurbished. Breakfast was a shamble with queues of people milling round the coffee machine. Had a drink in the bar on the 1st night- asked to charge to the room. Waitress got out a screwed up piece of paper to write my details on- i obviously wasn’t going to do that so returned to the room for cash. General impressions of the hotel not good due to attitude of staff - definitely wouldn’t revisit

We stayed at the Dorint in early May 2026. The hotel is a little out of the way for sightseeing but worth the walk in our opinion. It was a bit farther from the train station than I expected and the way the streets are laid out in some of these older cities, the need for a map app is essential, at least the first time. Wurzburg as it turns out was one of our favorite stays during our three weeks in Germany. Once we got our bearings, the Dorint wasn't too far out of the way for our excursions. We ate dinner at the Dorint our first night there and though it was on the expensive side the food was very good. We booked our room with the breakfast option and enjoyed their food options. The food quality was good and offered a lot of variety. We were there on a weekend and finding seating was challenging at times. The coffee machines were often backed up and the line at the buffet sometimes tried our patience but overall it was a good experience. The rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. There was no mini-fridge and the coffee option was instant and not pod based. If we visit Wurzburg in the future, we'll stay here again.

We are going to visit the north of Poland. On the way from Switzerland to Poland we stayed one night in Potsdam. We found this Hotel in TripAdvisor and booked for one night. The hotel is close to the center of the beautiful Potsdam. The room was a bit small but clean and everything was working. Only the internet was a bit shaky. We got a space in the huge parking garage and we were able to charge our EV (very expensive). The staff was friendly and efficient. Our dog got a treat when we arrived. All in all a very pleasant stay in this traditional hotel.
