Just returned from 4 nights in this hotel and would advise people to be cautious if looking at booking. At check-in in 40 degree heat we were informed air conditioning was "broken" and told its not being fixed.(its clear now from other reviews its always broken) We received no email in advance advising us of this just a disclosure before we checked in which was a little too late, due to forecast i had checked the website to ensure the rooms were air-conditioned, had i been made aware in advanced id have cancelled and booked an alternative. The room was like a sauna even as temperature dropped to 18 degrees the room remained so hot it waa hard to breath. We got no sleep and took numerous cold showers to try cool down, there is no fridge available to keep drinking water cold so we were left drinking hot water due to the room conditions and not even complementary water provided for the inconvenience. It was so unbareable it 100% ruined our trip, as a family after a day exploring the city we dreaded the thought of returning to the place where we should be able to return and relax in. In my opinion the hotel should not be in operation in those conditions for both guests and the staff who were noticeably struggling with fans on everywhere.. the heat of the horel/rooms really had a negative impact impact on us, i didnt expect luxury from a budget hotel but i did expect what was falsely advertised on their website as air-conditioned.. due to the heat we were very rarely in the hotel to repprt what it was like but staff seemed ok on arrival but no apology or offer of anythung to make the stay more comfortable we were also advised that our room wouldn't be cleaned or towels changed unless we booked it in... so ridiculous. I would never stay here or any premier inn again after this awful experience and I have never left a bad review before but this was my worst hotel experience ever.....

First, the positive aspects:
We had also booked a barrier-free room. That was perfect for a wheelchair and walker. Large, very well-equipped bathroom and enough space in the room around the bed. Very wide entrance and bathroom door. Great, thought of everything.
Also in the garage, there are extra parking spaces. Thank you.
The location was perfect for our needs and super central.
But it was terrible that there was no air conditioning. Just a "fan" that distributes the hot dry air. With outside temperatures over 30 degrees, at least fans and free water would be a nice idea for the guests.
The breakfast room is also not air-conditioned. The air is stagnant. Whether that is good for the food. There were five of us, and three of them had stomach and intestinal problems a few hours after breakfast.

I have no idea what is going on with premier inn here.
The shower door is approximately 15 inches wide you have to go in side wards if you are on the larger size.
The sink is a modern sink set very far back from the front, if you are as I am 5 foot 3 you end up in tip toes to clean teeth, and unfortunately I had an operation recently and have a scare on my stomach post op. And the hand towel situated makes the use of the bathroom very uncomfortable.
The bed is again approximately 15 inches on the wall side, was it a man designed this room a women would have put the bed in the middle for easy access, difficult getting in and out of bed in such a secluded space.
