Hotel Gasthof Goldener Hahn

We decided to find a place to stay before driving into Poland and found this Gasthof. Food was average, rooms spartan but clean. Safe parking. Breakfast buffet very small. Overall, not a bad place to stay and reasonably priced.

So we were there for the wedding with our children and were visibly disappointed no organization fully come in flexible and do not stop arranging if what matters and makes promises you should also stick to it and not that there is a bad awakening after the celebration. And room price and breakfast full over pulled the choice at breakfast very meagre only unhealthy food

Absolutely not recommended! I was originally planned to be a long-term guest for three months as I was working at the FFO hospital next door for professional reasons. But after just one month I ended my stay prematurely. The rooms are old-fashioned, the carpet not clean, and the room service is not daily. The employees are partly unfriendly, first and foremost the chef Udo, who not only seems unkempt, but is also completely unprofessional in his manner. I had made a polite request regarding my suitcase without any expectation. However, the so-called chef Udo reacted completely inappropriately and insultingly by grabbing his forehead and showing me the “bird”. He kept interrupting me, not letting me finish and behaving loudly and disrespectfully, as if my question were an imposition. Later, even the senior manager of the hotel defended this behavior, saying that the chef was “the nicest person here,” and that I was “just a guest.” Such behaviour and attitude towards guests lack any understanding of a good host. If you expect a pleasant stay and nice, clean rooms, you should absolutely avoid this hotel.
