INTERCITYHOTEL BERLIN BRANDENB

First! There are two intercity hotels at the airport! No extra mail so I had to take a taxi for 25 euro during the night to get to the other hotel and made the check in on myself cause no one was there to say hello! And next morning I had to pay again! Double pay so much trouble for one night!

The hotel is located in Schönefeld, not far from the former Berlin Schönefeld Airport. The room category we booked was on the top floor with a view of the airport as well as the landing and taking-off aircraft. The furnishings of the room and the bathroom were good; the beds offer very good sleep quality. One point of criticism is the shower; the cleaning by housekeeping is rather superficial, which can be seen in the condition of the grout. We did not have breakfast, so we cannot provide an assessment of it. For the past few days, only breakfast has been available at the hotel; the restaurant is otherwise closed. A vending machine in the lobby offers a few snacks and drinks. There is sufficient parking available, which is subject to a fee. There is a fitness room available, but we did not use it. The restaurant recommendation from the very friendly staff member at the front desk was good and is within walking distance.

Very clean and well organized. We had to catch the 6:00 a.m. flight and we took the subway, which is located a 7-minute walk from the hotel and arrives at the airport. Excellent solution.
