Best Western Plus Bremerhaven

Everything was top-notch: room, service, and value for money. Great breakfast!

I stayed for a week at the Best Western Plus in Bremerhaven. The hotel is located directly on a canal/dock system and right outside the hotel is the home base for some amazing government research ships. Staff were friendly and engaging and check-in was fast. My room was on the 4th floor and was harbor side. I was blown away by the amazing views out the windows. The entire wall is windows, floor to ceiling and during my stay there were always 2 giant research ships docked. This really made my stay special with such and an expansive view! The room was super clean and a good size. Decor was neutral and calming. What I liked: + Telephone in room + Large bottle of water free + Large work desk with 3 power ports + 2 chairs + Very comfortable bed (not rock hard) + Excellent TV (all channels in German), but there is a spare HDMI port to easily plug in a streaming stick and the remote allows you to change inputs + WiFi good + Mini fridge, safe, kettle with powdered coffee and teas + Nice bathroom arrangement and great shower + Bathroom products in Eco Friendly wall mounted containers + High quality towels + Clock radio + Good storage options and 2 night tables + Very good lighting + Super quiet --- I never heard anyone else, even though the hotel was quite full for a few nights To improve? - No USB ports in the room - No other pillow options except those big fluffy ones you sink into I loved the breakfast room (again with amazing views) There were lots of hot and cold choices + healthy choices as well The self-serve coffee machine was excellent. Free parking was plentiful. There are some restaurant options within walking distance, but the center of town (harbor) is further out. I loved this hotel!!

It's a perfect hotel for a business trip in the area. Located near the industries, right next to the river (great view), it's not expensive, they have a smoker's area, the rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, the bar is open until late, breakfast was really good and the staff were truly kind. Also the shower was nice and it was silent. We rested really well. We will definately stay there again when anyone in the team needs to visit the area again.
