Haverkamp

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Family stay with heart. We will come back! Our weekend at the Hotel Haverkamp in Bremerhaven was simply a success! As a family we felt comfortable from the first moment. What made the hotel special for us is the exceptional family friendliness, especially because it is the only hotel in Bremerhaven with pool and sauna. The entire house is furnished with great attention to detail and exudes a very personal, warm atmosphere. This is a family-run hotel where you can see all these details. A real highlight for us was the Karma Café: A self-service concept based on trust, where you take drinks and snacks yourself and simply write them down. This is really special! Our children were thrilled to do everything independently, a great experience and a beautiful gesture of trust. The rooms are tastefully and quality furnished, the design modern and at the same time cozy. The entire service staff was attentive, friendly and professional throughout. This is real quality for us. Breakfast was a dream: There was really everything your heart desires, from antipasti to a wide selection of sweet treats such as pancakes, muffins, cookies and chocolate kisses. Especially our children were in breakfast heaven 😊 Another detail we noticed very positively: All employees wear name badges with international flags, so you can see directly which languages are spoken, a great and thoughtful idea! The location is also great, walking distance from the sea. A lovingly run hotel with a special concept and a lot of heart. We will definitely be back!

After 1 day of various challenges and a big apology from the evening staff, we thought there could not go any worse. However we should believe again....On our balcony there are 2 chairs and a small table. Sitting quietly and enjoying it but suddenly one chair claps under me. When I look closer, I see a fracture due to rust. I hit my arm and neck. I take pictures and send them where I describe what happened and then we go to the reception and talk to them. They suggest to come and dry it off but sorry that they can not remove the rust after which I again have to explain to them that the chair has broken down because of the rust...we get promise on a new stool for which by self-sight is also the rust so I dare not use it. At no time have they asked until if I was okay after the crash/fall This holiday will not be as good as we expected due to challenges we are not responsible for. Træls

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay before our cruise from Bremerhaven. After a lot of research, we decided to stay at the Hotel Haverkamp. We were greeted very friendly and although we were already on site some time before the official check-in time, we could move into our room immediately. This was a bit small if you arrive with 2 giant suitcases, but very cozy and clean with a large bathroom. And above all, it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and perfectly adequate. The self-service bar takes some getting used to. White wine and beer were available chilled in bottles, red wine at room temperature. They then poured themselves into ready-made glasses. Furthermore, you could buy small snacks (chips, peanuts). You wrote everything down on a note, which you then handed in at the reception. The hotel is also within walking distance of the pedestrian zone and the Columbus ShoppingCenter, although the pedestrian zone is not inviting to linger at all, the Columbus Center with the associated , very nicely made *Moin outlet* is. Sauna and swimming pool we did not use The nice lady at the reception then ordered us the next day also a taxi to the ship dock. Should we need accommodation in Bremerhaven again, we will definitely come back
