Hotel Mercedes

I picked this place because it was close to the railway station and I was on a very tight schedule. Yes, it was close to the station and a few attractions, restaurants and the like, but it was basic. Very basic. Needs some care applied to it and some renovations. Tired. “You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” Disappointed with the level of service. Overnight and early in the morning it was noisy with “Hangers-On” below my window

Disgraceful!!! I've never seen anything like it, we called Mr Kadiri to book a room and he hung up on us and didn't answer for 2 hours (really unprofessional). We were already prejudiced against the hotel but we thought that maybe the rooms would make up for the receptionist's lack of respect. Well what a surprise when we arrived in the room to see a dilapidated room (it was supposedly their best room). Stains all over the carpet, a balcony worthy of a horror film, indescribably dirty walls, oppressive corridor (photos to prove it). We left as soon as we arrived. If that was all there was to it. We naturally asked for a refund for this disastrous room, and of course the receptionist refused with a haughty air. In short, this hotel is to be avoided!!!!!

Terrible noise from neighboring shepherds who stayed in the hallway. No responsibility or control of the situation on the part of the hotel. Lousy service at the reception and ugly, inhumane decor and stairwell which was outdated, cumbersome and dirty. Lousy room key system which took several tries to get used to. The hotel is also located in an unsafe area Fairly clean room.
