Hotel Vorbach Hamburg

The Vorbach Hotel is good but expensive for the service you get. Location: is very good, in one of the best areas in Hamburg, close to DB station, and within walking distance to the riverside and park. Cleanness: is ok, the room was clean, but the carpet and curtains in the room need washing. The corridor carpet also smells. The breakfast tables were nice and clean. Breakfast: was very nice, staff were friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast room might need to take some stairs if you have mobility issues. Building and space: The hotel is one of the oldest architectural buildings, rooms are big enough, furnitures are old type but very fine and nice, closet is big enough. There is elevator but there are some stairs before that (for people with mobility issues), the parking is available with 16 euros per night. There is no iron, kettle or teabags in the room, only welcome water. The breakfast staff are nice and friendly. The check-in reception staff was ok and helpful, and check-out staff was more warm and friendly.

This was a really lovely place to spend three nights. The hotel is two vintage buildings that are separated from one another. It is on a leafy and quiet street near the University of Hamburg. The room was not fancy, but pleasant and not cramped. The breakfast room is a very beautiful space with original decorations from when it was a home and a calming view to trees and a garden. The breakfast itself had a nice selection of standard items and cost €19. To get to U or S Bahn to get to the center, you do need to walk about 8 minutes, but the streets are very pleasant.

Very nice, somewhat old-fashioned hotel in a villa district near the university, Rotherbaumchaussee and the outer Alster. Spacious, nicely furnished room, quiet location in a side street. Very nice reception at the reception Those who prefer only a light breakfast may not necessarily have to stay in the hotel, but will find 2 nice cafe-bakeries a short distance away
