The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Reeperbahn U-Bahn, close to the ferries and 20 plus minutes to the major sites. Just be mindful that the Reeperbahn is a bit sleazy, sex clubs and vagrants sleeping on the streets. The premier inn is just out of the way of that.

We stayed one night at the hotel and chose it mainly for the price and location. The hotel is close to the Reeperbahn (yet very quiet as it is a parallel street) and is also great for a musical visit (15-20 min. walk to the landing bridges). The metro is also just under 5 minutes away. The check-in worked smoothly, the staff was very friendly. The rooms cozy and well equipped, also very clean. For the pillows there is a choice of hard and soft pillows. The breakfast cost 17.90€ per person and truly very varied. Various baked goods, cold cuts/spreads, cereals, yogurt, fruit - there is something for everyone. The invoice came directly after check-out by mail. The only thing that would have been desirable for me was possibly a bottle of water in the room and various bottles for shampoo/shower gel instead of a 3in1. But it is not a 5-star hotel either and what you get is totally what you expect here. All in all highly recommended!

Staying here was just ok. The location was good- close to public transport and close to the Reeperbahn with lots of places to get food. It was clean and the main bed was comfortable. They don’t clean your room unless you ask for it and after our second night I asked for a clean the next day. Our mugs were getting dirty and we wanted fresh towels. They said ok and logged it on the system. We were out all day and when we got back at night we realised we didn’t get a clean so we were left with the same dirty cups and towels. We travelled as a family of two adults and a teenager and booked a family room. The extra bed was a converted sofa bed but it was so hard. We had to all cram into one bed as after the first night my son said his body hurt. I told the desk staff about it and the reply I got was ‘that’s just what we have here’ not even an apology. I don’t know whose idea it was to provide those to sleep on. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor!
