Very picturesque hotel in the heart of the town. Extremely good and pleasant staff, including Mellios at reception and the charming service staff. Good clean room and lovely food, although the kitchen finished taking orders by 7.45. It has an escalator, which was a bonus. We loved the fact that swallows were nesting in the rafters too!

Stayed at the hotel on a coach tour (Glenton Holidays) . Porterage included as large vehicles unable to navigate entrance. A warm welcome received by hotel staff on arrival and throughout our stay, especially Milo’s in reception who was more than happy to assist any enquiries. The hotel is located on the Drosselgasse and is full of history and culture. Lovely outdoor garden too. Meals provided are local cuisine in the evenings with choices of mains. Continent breakfast served buffet style with bacon, eggs option if preferred. The location of the hotel is close to many local attractions and there is a local scenic “road train” that passes close by to access further afield in the area. Area is full of quaint shops, bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoy my stay and would happily return. Rudsheim is a beautiful place on the Rhine and options to travel by river boat on daily excursions .

Do not stay here. I cannot believe this hotel is still in business. The rooms are dated stains over the carpets needs a total refurbishment. Evening meal I would not feed to anyone or anything. Waiters are rude and when asked to sit outside under cover from the rain the male waiter was so rude told me he wouldn’t serve me as he didn’t want to get wet. Then scowled at me and my group from the kitchen area. Complained to the manager who was speaking perfect English up to the complaint and then he could not speak English and told me to complain in German Do not stay here TERRIBLE HOTEL
