Best Western Hotel Steinsgarten

...rarely have I visited such an unwelcoming hotel; one wonders what the plus is actually supposed to stand for. The guest is fundamentally regarded as a potential fraudster here. Before accessing the booked room, the entire travel price must be paid. Even a coffee ordered to the room must be paid for immediately. A minibar designated as an additional feature is completely empty; a guest might take a drink without paying. On a lower floor, there is a refrigerator from which drinks can be obtained after payment. Breakfast is only available until 10 AM; this may be fine for business travelers, but not when on vacation and wanting to swim before breakfast. The location is okay, as it is central.

Very good location to the city center and yet quiet. At the pool there are bathrobes and pool towels. There is also a sauna. The room was great and nicely large. Breakfast is very extensive.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Strange grinding noise coming from the ventilation, impossible to sleep. According to reservation 112€ for a single room, credit card however charged by 112€ + 118€ without any explanation. Zero interest to correct their mistake just total silence.
