Holiday Inn Frankfurt City-South

Stayed for few days in February as visiting the city. Within walking distance of city centre. Great friendly staff, great gym area and sports bar attached to hotel which was really convenient.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the breakfast was very extensive, although it was sometimes very crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. In the sports bar it was pleasant to stay thanks to the wide choice of beers and spirits. Thanks to its good connection to the city centre, the hotel is a great base to explore Frankfurt. Here and there some parts are somewhat dated, but overall we had a pleasant stay.

The first impression is not the best, because the surroundings of the somewhat outdated hotel make a slightly "ruffled" impression. But: Spacious and clean rooms, new spacious bathroom, balcony with views. There is a really well equipped fitness area for guests. Good meeting rooms with natural light. Breakfast and buffet-style meals were appetizing. The staff, no matter if at the reception, in the restaurant or other domestic staff, whom you simply encountered in the staircase, were professionally friendly. Conclusion: Good choice if you are willing to accept small swaps and are not too fussy.
