1 out of 5 stars. Insufficient. Misleading pictures, bad room, catastrophic food, lack of cleanliness, disrespectful staff, poor communication. Never recommendable again.

The hotel is highly recommended for families with young children, as there is a good range of offerings available.
(Mini disco)
The highlight was the swimming pool, which is equipped with two slides, and the fitness room, which is ideal for integrating cardio and strength training during one's stay.
Since we had been there a few years ago, we unfortunately noticed some things that were not as good as during our last visit.
For example, fees are charged for using the mini-golf clubs and the
bowling alley, both of which were free a few years ago.
There could have been a bit more variety in the food.
On Friday and Saturday, the dinner buffet offers a lot of salad, good side dishes, but little meat or fish dishes.
The Rhön is very suitable for going on a little hike.
There are marked paths that are supposed to show one the beautiful side of nature.
Unfortunately, the paths were very overgrown and unkempt.
Some areas were almost swallowed by the tall grass.
For those who want to hike there, I advise against wearing perfume and suggest wearing long clothing, as there are many insects around that like to drink human blood (biting insects).
Another downside was the parking fees.
Since there are virtually no alternatives for parking, one is forced to park at the hotel facility and pay the fee.
Given that there are so many additional costs, we agreed that the hotel has not invested these revenues wisely.
In summary, it is worth a visit, but one should be aware that only a part of the services is included in the book price.
The breakfast and dessert at dinner were to our satisfaction.

Really nice hotel, newly renovated and clean! Welcome and friendly staff, in reception and restaurant. The food was okay, lots of selection and the taste okay. Unfortunately, you have to pay for drinks tonight, which I thought was unfortunate. For breakfast, the bread selection was very narrow (three different), but otherwise a large and wide selection from yogurt, breakfast products to eggs and pancakes.
The rooms were super nice, with plenty of space. A wish (with a 3-year-old) would be a lock on the door that they couldn't open... A huge plus is that you almost never have to go out (just for playland). Otherwise, everything is under a roof. (Remember shoes)
Check-in, carrying baggage and check-out worked really fine. There were unfortunately a lot of people, which unfortunately made it a slightly less relaxing weekend. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, where we will at least come again.
