Hotel Global

Never hit such a bad hotel as this one. Upon arrival, your passport must be copied. Kindly asked to cross out some personal data so that it can be used safely but the receptionist did not intend to do so at first and pretended not to understand us. Eventually, after insistence, this was done reluctantly. Hotel has few, too small parking spaces. The unstable elevator is only usable for 3 people and an escape route for emergencies is missing from the room. The carpeting in the room and hall is full of stains. The overall impression is very mucky with a lot of overdue maintenance. Beds and plumbing seemed fine. The reality does not match the many positive reviews this hotel gets. Those who like a bit of comfort and cleanliness will definitely not book this hotel! Surroundings of the hotel are desolate; an average industrial park has more appeal.

Don’t believe the positive reviews for this hotel. The hotel management are giving away upgrades for reviews. In addition, the management of this hotel are dishonest. They charged my card for 2 people for breakfast, even though there was just myself. I believe an honest mistake initially, but when I requested a refund they claimed I owed them money because a let a relative use the shower in my room after his flight. This claim was nonsense as it was the same cost to book the room for two people as it was for one. As for the hotel itself, it is very worn out and run down, and 30 minutes from the airport by bus.

In this hotel, we were very well advised and accommodated today despite a mistake in the booking. The friendly lady at the reception is very competent, and that is what one wishes for in a good hotel. Always happy to return
