Hotel zum Brauhaus

Very impressed with the ambience, however, we had to cut corners on the 2nd evening. Ordered for dinner was 1 white sausage salad and smoked salmon. The white sausage salad was served in a kind of soup bowl and as a dressing was a thin sauce made of something in which the white sausage went down. The smoked salmon plate was lushly full, but the salmon was balled up. The plate was overloaded. Rustic does not mean "loveless" served. After complaint, one could be excused by a schnapps by the friendly service. The first night I had a rump steak 200gr. 70gr of it was fat. The steak (medium rare) was otherwise good but for 31.50€ without side dish just too expensive. Repeat factor to this locality is almost zero.

The location gives good access to the center. The staff throughout the house are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained (perhaps a little stale furnished). Breakfast was plentiful and fulfilled all our wishes.

Incredibly beautiful hotel! The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and varied. The hotel is very close to the center and in a quiet location.
