Hotel Wehrburg

This quiet yet "central" hotel has a wonderfully peaceful park with seating and relaxation areas that invite you to rest and read. Nature is ever-present, and as Goethe says, "the power of the soul awakens you." The staff members are humorous and friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The start of the day can begin!

Hotel Wehrburg is not located directly in Cuxhaven, but in the OT Duhnen. It is located directly on the Weser cycle path and is still very quiet, as the road ends 200m further. Parking is only available in the hotel's own parking lot. There is also the covered, closed and monitored outdoor area for the bicycles. Again, we found enough charging facilities for our pedelecs. The hotel is very cozy in our eyes. Our room was very spacious, clean, had a balcony and a very generous bathroom. Also in this hotel, our suitcases had already been brought to the room. The breakfast room is located upstairs and is just as comfortably furnished as the rest of the hotel. The buffet is very rich here and even has dispensers for the jams. We really didn't miss anything here, only that around 8:30 the selection of seats in the breakfast room was already very limited. The staff here at the hotel are very dedicated and help even if the end of the day has already been rung in. Also, they were very accommodating when we needed a parking space for our chauffeur's motorhome. For the additional breakfast, however, 20€ were due. Overall, the hotel has left a very good impression on us and therefore gets a full 5 stars from us as a whole package.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and a nice garden to breathe through. Breakfast very good and very friendly service. Also the lady at the reception was very competent, friendly and helpful. THANK YOU for everything.
