RAMADA BAEREN GOSLAR

It was a stopover on the way home from the Baltic Sea. Overnight stay for 1 night. We would have wished for a quiet relaxation. The exact opposite was the case. When booking, we should have been informed that a larger event, the graduation party, was taking place that evening. It was not possible to sleep before 2 AM. Giggles, loud talking and shouting, as well as screaming and loud moaning during sex. The room was musty, noisy, and without any precautions for the very hot temperatures. There was no air conditioning, not even a fan. In no way worth the 4 stars.

The room was a little tight, but complete with everything needed for a night's stay. Cleanliness was superb. The service offered by the personnel was very friendly and helpful. Regretfully my wife suffered a fall in our room, with no cause of the hotel. This fall delayed our departure beyond the check out time. The very kind and friendly personnel provided us with generous breakfast and canceled for us the official check out time and offered to notify a doctor, should we have needed one. The location is easily reached by car or public transit bus. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, good when desiring a restful surrounding. The price-performance ratio is remarkably good, deserving a definitely good recommendation, when visiting in Goslar!

Maybe dated from the outside but everything you need inside. Also used as a convention center and that means enough p-places. Located in a very quiet suburb of Goslar. Fine restaurant if you don't want to go into town (again); small menu for everyone with reasonable prices! (Unlike downtown because that's where you pay the top price.)
