I stayed at this hotel with my daughter and two grandchildren and we were pleased with the hotel overall. Staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke English. We were travelling by car and were lucky enough to be given a parking space right outside the front of the hotel, I think there are only about twelve spaces but if they are full there is another public car park nearby. We had great views from our windows and the room we all shared was large enough for all of us. We had the usual coffee making facilities, fridge and a safe. My only criticism was the bathroom, the shower wasn't the best in the world and had a mind of its own, spraying water everywhere. We all thought that it was due for a makeover. Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location of the hotel was spot on, an easy ten minute walk into the old town. Another bonus was that you can pick up a boat ride along the river, a five minute walk from the hotel, a nice way to spend an hour or so relaxing with a drink. Upon arrival and whilst booking in my two grandchildren were given a small present which they loved. I would recommend this hotel because of its location and friendly staff.

This hotel is definitely not four stars. We recentkyvstayed for six nights. The wifi only works in the bedroom. There is no air conditioning or fans located in bedrooms or throughout the hotel.lobby ( which is half contructed in glass). When we asked for a fan we were told fans are limited ( temps were above 38 degrees). There was no fridge in the room. The bar did not open until.5.30pm, even for a coffee, and it closed at 10pm, even for residents. There is not enough housekeeping staff which meant we were xane back to wet towels, no toilet paper and unmade beds on one occasion at 5pm in tge afternoon. The breakfast and waitress service was really good.

We were given a room in an annexe that did not have an elevator and the room was up 3 flights of steep stairs. We asked for a room on the ground floor or part of the hotel with a lift. We were offered a different room for more money There was no mini bar so no cool water in the room we were in a big heatwave to be fair . The coffee machine was unsuitable for tea making and the room though quite expensive did not have air conditioning. Not sure about the availability of car parking spaces as it did seem limited though we got there early so okay. The room we used was very clean and despite being close to a busy road we slept well(despite the heat) We did not have an evening meal there but the restaurant for breakfast was very good with plenty of choice
