ZUR KRONE

Everything here is very old and in need of a lot of renovation. The beds are slack and the bathroom is not very clean. The window putty partially crumbles and the road makes a peaceful sleep impossible even when the window is closed. Breakfast is ok, fresh fruit or fresh vegetables unfortunately misrepresentation, even sausage and cheese all from the pack. Positive is only the very central location

Super clean and comfortable hotel with a superb location. Also very quiet for a peaceful nights' sleep. However, there was no safe or tea making facilities in the room (I'm British so maybe not a German habit?). Two main negatives - the toiletpaper was very rough (presumably because it's cheap) and the breakfast buffet had no fresh fruit, just a bowl of tinned fruit which seemed very old fashioned! Staff very friendly

Fantastic service. Very welcoming staff. The hotel will do everything for my father to have a wonderful 80th birthday. They upgraded my parents to a better room, made a nice breakfast table, all this without charge, you don't see that in many places anymore.
