Pleasant hotel with very friendly staff. The reservation over the phone was straightforward. The hotel itself is a bit dated, overall the design and interior are not my thing, but as is often the case, it is a matter of taste. The room was quiet and clean, only the carpet could do with a thorough cleaning. The beds were much too soft for me, but that too - a matter of taste. None of that detracts from the rating. The location is very central. The breakfast was plentiful and tasted good. What struck me as very negative, however, was that a waiter at the buffet was harshly spoken to in front of all the guests by a colleague who was probably a manager. These are things that are sorted out in the office and not with the guest.

The hotel is in a great central location. A flexible rebooking of the 2 rooms into one was no problem thanks to the great staff. 3-bed room, quiet, clean, well-kept and everything you need was there. The breakfast is plentiful. There is a deduction for the scrambled eggs (not cooked through) and for the bread that was far too hard. Everything else is great. There is also a selection for people who are lactose intolerant and vegans.

It's just a few steps from Hanover train station to the hotel via the north exit of the station, making it extremely convenient for those who need to be very central. The shopping center (Kröpcke) is also not far away, as well as good restaurants. The hotel is, in fact, quite simple, despite its grandiose proportions. The rooms are spacious and well lit but there is no temperature control; the suite is huge and accommodates a family well. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor in a gigantic room and is basic but sufficient. With several rooms of varying sizes and capacities, the Plaza is ideal for meetings and conferences. For those who are just staying overnight in the city for tourism or those who came for a conference and want to be very close to the train station, the Plaza is a very reliable choice.
