Seehotel Grossherzog von Mecklenburg

I had a room at the deep-goods driveway, was woken up by the light x times at night. A request to change rooms was denied, although guests, groups changed daily. My impression I was an elderly, single woman booked through a cheap provider. The whole stay was ruined by my sleep problems. E. Hettwer

We wanted to spend a relaxing Christmas holiday... The room is fine, the staff very friendly and prudent, but the spa is very old and looks a bit dingy. The restaurant for dinner was overcrowded and very noisy. There are no tablecloths on Christmas Eve, just placemats that are a bit sticky. It has something of station pub and nothing of the 4 star hotel. We are very disappointed and will certainly not come back here.

Beautifully located hotel directly on the Baltic Sea, just a few minutes to the beach and the pier. Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and a nice bar with delicious cocktails. Room clean but a bit cramped for families. Wellness area with pool and sauna pleasant, but quickly crowded. Evening buffet rather expensive with limited choice. Overall a solid hotel for a short break in Boltenhagen.
