Best Western Hotel Hanse Kogge

Good hotel with standard amenities, spa with swimming pool results in 4 stars. Rooms are well-equipped, balcony, good beds, with a stocked minibar, relatively small bathroom with a good shower, partly very warm, as there is no air conditioning. Windows are not always easy to open, as many smokers are present. Breakfast is rich, atmosphere is maritime. Spa with saunas and swimming pool very pleasant, as there is usually hardly anyone there. Many older guests, as prices are affordable and half-board is available. Price for parking at 15 EUR is a bit expensive.

Everything was simply top. The staff throughout the entire building were very, very nice and helpful, and also gave good tips for excursions. Every Wednesday and Sunday there was live music. Otherwise, the spa and wellness area was very good; you could go to the sauna or swim until 10:00 PM, and the ambiance there was also very clean and well-maintained. Afterwards, you could then wind down the evening at the bar on the premises with a round of bowling or darts. The employee Bruno there ran the place really well, created a great atmosphere, and was there for the guests! All in all, we liked it a lot and we will definitely come back next year!!!

We were here twice in a row in four weeks and were very satisfied. The whole team is super friendly. It was my birthday and I have to say: I have not had such a beautiful decorated table with a birthday greeting in any hotel. Thanks for that!!! The surroundings are quieter than in the surrounding imperial baths and you can easily reach everything else at any time by the bathing railway. The facilities and rooms are just great. We had half board and there was a three-course menu every evening, which we were allowed to select daily from the menu. It was super delicious and we were so full and just happy every day! We will come back and can only warmly recommend it to everyone!
