Akzent Waldhotel Gohren

I have to criticize the corrugated area. The relaxation room by the pool is very cold, there are no visible ceilings available. On the whirlpool the control buttons work, but are defective. At the pool, the jets don't go. In front of the steam sauna hangs a sign: under repair. In the infrared cabin, only 2 out of 6 lamps work and just above the lounger none lights up. The aroma shower does not work, on request also defective.

Been here as part of the AKON concept. The hotel is in a prime location only about 30 meters from the inclined elevator to the beach. Very friendly and always helpful staff who also always tried to overcome language barriers. The room in pleasant size with balcony. Breakfast very sumptuous, a large selection of fresh fruit, bread, etc. Dinner in buffet form with 3 main courses to choose from very good. Not to mention the large sauna area - here you are happy to stay! Unfortunately, the entire spa treatment and wellness area was closed, but we were just more on the beach. The only (we found it to be a very annoying) shortcoming was the bad smell in the main house. Unfortunately, it always smelled more or less penetrating of modem/lock. But work is probably being done to remedy this "odor damage"!

Nice hotel in a small park with a wonderful rose garden. From my room I could see directly to the pier. Good service and very good breakfast buffet. The hotel has a beautiful wellness area with several saunas and a small swimming pool. Cleanliness, especially in the outdoor area of the wellness area could be improved.
