Despite a friendly welcome and a decent breakfast, I cannot give a better rating. The reason is the incredibly warm corner room. No cool air from outside gets in at night at all. Instead, cigarette smoke from the guests below drifts into the room. Because of the open door, you could also hear all the conversations on the balconies. That might not matter in the fall when the door is closed, but in the summer, the hotel needs to come up with something. As a result, the nights are anything but restful.

The hotel is superbly located, just a few minutes to the beautiful natural beach of Göhren and also to the center with restaurants and shops. Rooms have partial sea views and are beautiful and modernly equipped. For my dog there were even bowls and treats. However, the surcharge for the dog is very high, which makes the total price rise significantly. A good breakfast buffet is available until 13:00, which allows you to start your day relaxed and make a previous walk on the beach with your dog possible. Even after that you can take coffee and tea there for a fee. In the shop there are a few souvenirs and also sweets or drinks for the room. The service is extremely friendly, helpful and personable.

Large room (superior with balcony/sea view), clean, good beds (180cm). Nice balcony. Small bathroom, almost no storage space. Large shower (not at ground level, but without a door, just a glass partition) Excellent breakfast - until 1pm. Wi-Fi connection poor, sometimes doesn't work at all. Tried various devices. Central location in town. Very quiet. Parking space quickly filled up. Alternative at the VJU Hotel 400m up the hill. 1 bike per person for 1 day incl. Lunch pack per person was included. Excellent
