What remains from the good times: The registry office still has an external office here; otherwise, the signs point to cost pressure and austerity measures, although the staff continues to make great efforts. The outdoor pool installed in 2024 is the cheapest possible investment: No proper entrance, no tiles, partly just concrete without paint, the loungers are uncomfortable, heavy, and unwieldy. The breakfast used to be more abundant, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed; the room furnishings are still from the 1990s, and next year, during the same Störtebeker premiere time, I would have to pay a full 50 € more for the room (I decided not to book there again). And what I think of the parking fees, I would prefer to remain silent about here out of decency. And this hotel also seems not to have a safety officer: During the wedding ceremony in the garden, the sign behind the erected pavilion is covered, which indicates the gathering place (in case of emergency): Dear ladies and gentlemen, this is unacceptable. I will not return; there are better alternatives in the Baltic Sea resorts.

We (female colleagues) spent a wellness weekend at this hotel and were very satisfied. Over 20 years ago, after visiting the Störtebeker Festival, we stayed at this hotel and can gladly and wholeheartedly recommend it again now. We had a very nice double room on the 3rd floor with a view of the garden; everything was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished. The restaurant "Fienhuus" leaves nothing to be desired; the dinner buffet was varied and very delicious, and the breakfast and service there were exceptionally friendly and attentive; no one had to wait long for a drink in the lobby in the evening. The registration at the spa was uncomplicated, and the treatments (massage and healing clay wrap) were very relaxing ;-). Check-in and check-out at the reception were also very friendly. Always happy to return.

Already the booking clear and friendly. We were happy to accept and book the hotel offer. We were there early and were able to enjoy the terrace. Here a friendly service and a wonderful peace. We could check in already on arrival, here too a very friendly welcome and everything slightly loose from the stool. When we got the room card, we were in the 3. Floor driven by lift. And here the positive surprise very big. A great, clean room. Great decor, you felt equally comfortable, very quiet, good beds, nice bathroom and the view to the garden and pool. The pool is heated, also sun loungers and a sauna were available outside. All a positive surprise. Well for breakfast, there is enough and everything tasted good. There was a coffee machine or correspondingly many pots with filter coffee. What I missed was the salmon. But I have to say, we will gladly come back and can only recommend the place.
