MERCURE CITY

The location is great for those arriving by train, the station is 3 minutes walk. Rooms a bit 'spartan and basic for a Mercure, in any case I slept well and I found good breakfast (as in all hotels in the Accor group).

Breakfast was super everything else not recommended. Most expensive room category booked, no air conditioning only after room exchange and extra 10€. Hotel charges 15€ for the parking garage but it is public and the maximum daily rate is 6€. You only have to walk 2 meters. In front of the hotel construction site very complicated arrival by car. No indication from the hotel. Hotel is old and not worth the price since you can go for in a Steigenberger and has climate and sauna!

If you value a good and extensive breakfast, this is the place for you. The breakfast buffet is really exceptional. Great offer, very nice presentation in a chic ambience. You should take your time. It's worth it! Also the service is very nice and accommodating. You can tell that value is placed on a good breakfast here. Everything is prepared with love and nothing is missing. This was the case even before the hotel was renovated, and has not changed to this day. Only the fish selection could be a bit larger. We would definitely come back!
