CPH Hotel Haus Oberwinter

Well.....people sometimes have a bad day or different taste, so I judge the hotel after a 5 day package....so honest. The first weekdays Thursday and Friday a nice guy at the reception....no trouble too much....even conjured a kettle for us in the room! The young woman in the restaurant was downright short of dust and just didn’t throw things down on the table. No fish, that was on....so pork chop.....was just a communication!.....too bad. Hotel is very clean, inside and out. The back is better left unchecked...a messy lot. Look in the kitchen....fine. Parking also fine...but many disabled and charging places...the latter unoccupied?....just use! Breakfast extensive and very good. Dinner sometimes delicious, sometimes less. But then....it's not custom work, is it? Although brown cauliflower and wrinkled beans are just too long....not serving that trade anymore....looks better and is better. A lot of disabled people. We had a superior plus room.... actually a disabled suitable room on the BG. ......fine! Good bed....rotten pillow...typical German...is never what. Not bothered by the train running lower....you hardly hear and certainly not with the windows closed. Pool fine, water 26 degrees and sauna also well at temperature.....(clean towels and sunbeds). Both not big, but in October fine in terms of occupation. So for us an 8.....especially in terms of price - quality.

Located on the very banks of the Rhine. The rooms are small but comfortable. Superior have balcony with river view, TV, fridge. The food is delicious, there is a choice of dishes. Attentive staff. Reasonable prices in the restaurant. The hotel can be recommended for a conference or for those who want to avoid the urban noise and be quiet.
