Jugendherberge Koln-Deutz City-Hostel

This place is nothing but a building site inside and out. Booking in whilst workmen fix things, trip hazards everywhere. Building site right outside. No where for coaches to drop off or park. Loads of unsupervised kids playing with lifts. Staff do nothing and don't care. Very noisy rooms. 2 stars is generous

Where do i even start. The food was pure slop. One day there were no knives left for fish and moldy potato's. It was a horrible expirence I saw some bins down the road that might of been a better stay #iloveköln

In the 7. On the first floor it is quite quiet, and you hardly notice anything of the youth hostel operation - were it not for the adventure of elevator rides. It must be fascinating for children and teenagers to push all buttons and so make the ride a lengthy affair:-) Our room had hotel level, everything was tiptoe clean and in good shape. Breakfast was quite simple.
