Mercure Koln West

We were very enthusiastic. The rooms were standard, but clean. There is also a small refrigerator. The breakfast was great—everything was fresh and there was a wonderful selection. A special service is the water station (with sparkling water) in the lobby for self-service available around the clock. Our children were also very pleased with the swimming pool. Good water temperature. It takes about 45 minutes to get to downtown by public transportation (single ticket €4/adult). To Gertrudenhof (less than 10 minutes), Phantasialand is about 30 minutes away.

You should never prematurely reject hotels based on the pictures of its exterior! Whoever does it anyway really misses something! For our visit to Let ́s Dance we had deliberately chosen this hotel because it is easily accessible on the highway and also offers very good transport links to the public transport. We were there with our friends and lived in the Privilege rooms which have excellent beds and ample space. Top of this offer were of course also the daily 5 articles from the "Kiosk" with which you could not only sweeten the evening. Charging facilities for electric vehicles at very reasonable prices and sufficient further parking are also a plus. The pool and bar as well as the restaurant are great. In the latter we had lunch on the first day and were more than satisfied! In addition, the hotel scores with its great staff who have always met us with a smile. It was also great that you could buy your local transport ticket directly at the hotel. What more could you want. For the next Cologne trip we will definitely stop again!
